Getting Started:

Search by Postcode: Enter a valid UK postcode
(e.g., SW1A 1AA) into the input field and click "Search".

Use Your Location: Click the "Use My Location"
button to automatically detect your current position using your
device's GPS.

Select Crime Category: Choose a specific crime
category from the dropdown to filter the results. "All Crimes"
is selected by default.

Adjust Search Radius: Use the slider in the
settings to define the search distance (50m to 1000m). The blue
boundary circle on the map and the resulting data will update to
match your selection.

Heatmap Visualization: Toggle the "Show Crime
Heatmap" switch to see a density map of crime clusters. This
helps you identify specific "hotspots" within your search area.

Explore & Drag: You can drag the central marker
on the map to instantly analyze crime data for a different
nearby spot.

Understand the RAG Status: The Red, Amber,
Green (RAG) card indicates the safety level based on crime
counts. The chart below displays the crime trend over your
selected time period.
